Close to the sea on the east coast of Mallorca in a wide valley between two mountains Puig of Sa Font and Puig of Son Lluc, this town originates from the remains of a settlement thousands of years old. One of the most significant buildings is the Esglesia Nova (New Church) designed by one of Gaudi's disciples taking some 25 years to complete.
